3. Frequency range for wireless communication is varies between 106 to 1011 Hz.

4. If we talk about specific frequency range use for mobile communication in India, we have different range for 2G, 3G, 4G.

Frequency range for GSM (2G) is 900 MHz and 1800 MHz.

Frequency range for CDMA is 850 MHz.

Frequency range for WCDMA (3G) is 900 MHz and 2100 MHz.

Frequency range for 4G LTE (4G) is 850 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz.

Department of Telecommunication (DoT) allocates this spectrum to different operators in India and at global level International Telecommunication Union (ITU) manages all technical things related to spectrum.

Hope you read it and improved your knowledge.

Bonus point –

The first telecom spectrum auction in India held in 1994.
